From our entire family at Crossroads, we want to thank Bob and Toula Thomas for placing their confidence in us for their kitchen remodel. Here is what they had to day.

When we first got started looking into custom cabinetry providers, I was very skeptical and had reservations; but now, we are thankful that we made Crossroads Cabinetry and their traditional Legend Collection our final choice as we're pleasantly surprised. I was intimate with the installation and everything fit perfectly together like a puzzle; the fit and finish were perfect, so we didn’t have to play around with adjustments or fillers.
We were about to spend more at IKEA and we would have had ‘inconveniences’ like having to assemble everything ourselves. We almost spent a lot more at Home Depot for a lot less. We spent a lot of time in design and the requirements demanded very precise fit where if only one dimension was off; it would have thrown off everything. You try to get as confident in what it will turn out like as you can, but you really don’t know until the end.
Our neighbor across the street was advising us on this remodel. He is a General Contractor who works on high-end homes in Sherwood and Westlake village and he’s very savvy with price. He was disappointed that we didn’t use his sources, but now that he has seen our finished project, he is impressed; honestly, when he saw the moldings and trim as well as the Blum hardware that he said surpassed Woodmode quality—for the price, he was shocked!
“Including both bathrooms and hardwood floors for the home, you could say we remodeled more than half of the home and the cabinetry is the best part of the remodel” –Bob

The kitchen is done and we are very, very happy with it! Finding the "right" granite was very nerve-wracking, but that's been installed, the backsplash is done, and we hung 3 pendants over the island last week. That was the finishing touch! Our nephew is covering the wall to the left of the refrigerator with ledger stone and that's giving the kitchen a very sophisticated yet earthy look. We'll definitely take some pictures and send them to you.
The only issue we had was the unexpected delay during the holidays. We lost some time when samples on some selections weren’t immediately available to see if we wanted to change from maple kitchen cabinets to cherry kitchen cabinets in our preferred style and delivery delay during the holidays. In hindsight, we settled on a maple, Crossroads Mandalay Bay with a clove finish and have absolutely no regrets.
All in all, we're really happy with how it turned out and friends who have seen the kitchen and looked at the cabinets have been very impressed. Attached is just a small picture I took with my cell phone to capture the granite, the backsplash, the drawer pulls, and the pendant light for my sister. More pictures to come. Toula
“When it comes to referring people; well, when they see the product, it really speaks for itself” –Toula
