Jacob Teng, Crossroads Customer since August of 2008.
At Crossroads, we are unswerving in our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction so we look for every opportunity to listen to the feedback from our customers. Our mission is to exceed every wish now and in the future. We like to think that with our focus on guiding each customer through a productive and pleasurable kitchen cabinet selection process via factory direct kitchen cabinets on the web exclusively available at Webinetry.com, it will ultimately help turn a house into a home.
With this in mind, we set out this week to interview Jacob Teng, from Austin, Texas more than one year after his Crossroads kitchen cabinet purchase. Sure he already gave us his testimonial early on about how the cabinets are well made and that the installation turned out to be so easy; but, we wanted to know more about how much he enjoyed living in and around a Crossroads kitchen. Here is my interview.
Do you recall your first impression of Legend and how you were drawn to the "Maple Kitchen Cabinets" collection and what aspects/s really caught your attention?
Jacob Teng: I was able to see and touch many samples before, so I knew about the quality and was easily confident in the style that I wanted for our kitchen.
Would you say that your tastes typically are conservative/traditional, modern, or a combination?
Jacob Teng: We are very traditional and conservative in our tastes-that is where our imagination goes and for house, which is 30 years old, a traditional kitchen interior was the right choice for our house as well.
Did everyone or all sides of the family share the same view?
Jacob Teng: Yes; our tastes go back really for generations....on both sides of the family.
What impact has the new kitchen had on your daily lives? Or what role, aside from the common uses, does the kitchen play in your family life?
Jacob Teng: It has really become the most important area for the whole family and where we spend most of our time. For our design, we don't have a direct opening to our living area, but there is a walkway that is connected to the main area.
Would you say that your impression of the quality of the cabinetry that you had when you first purchased and had it installed has increased over time?
Jacob Teng: Yes; our perception of the quality has not eroded at all.
What product qualities (product grade, dovetail drawer boxes, drawer guides, hinges, finishes, distressing capabilities, etc.) do you enjoy or appreciate the most?
Jacob Teng: We appreciate them all; there is one exception, one drawer takes an extra push to close, but it is the most used drawer in the house.
Really, what drawer is it?
Jacob Teng: The trash bin, we open and close it probably 30-40 times a day.
After experiencing Crossroad's cabinetry for more than one year, would you say that you wouldn't want to settle for anything less?
Jacob Teng: Absolutely, I would not settle for anything less.
Thinking back to the when you were tearing down your kitchen to remodel, does that seem distant now?
Jacob Teng: I still remember, still have a visual tearing down the whole house; but now it all seems well worth it.

My installer just stopped by and made the comments that the cabinets are well made and using the Blum hinges is really top-notch. He also mentioned that the installation was really easy too. Hes been working in a cabinet factory for 3 years so he knows cabinetry well. Id say you guys do a really good job in manufacturing such high quality products.
